I was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. After graduation from Bishop England High School, I moved to Columbia, South Carolina to attend the University of South Carolina and follow my dream of becoming an attorney. While studying at the University of South Carolina, I was a recipient of the Life Scholarship as well as a University Scholar Scholarship as I pursued my studies in Philosophy and English Literature. Upon completion of my undergraduate degree, I became a member of the University of South Carolina School of Law Class of 2010. While in law school, I started my legal career with The Finney Law as the sole law clerk in the office. Through hard work with the attorneys and staff at that firm, I developed extensive litigation experience. Inspired by the legal giants that came before me I graduated law school and immediately began to practice in the areas of criminal defense, civil litigation, and domestic relations. Through this practice I have been afforded the opportunity to interact with communities throughout South Carolina and work tirelessly to ensure each person that I represent has his or her voice heard in the Courts. I consistently treat each of my clients with the respect that they deserve and understand the great burden placed upon myself when accepting a client’s case. Whether it be in family court, civil court, or criminal court, I will work my hardest to ensure that you are treated fairly and given the opportunity to have your day in court. I'm a member of the South Carolina Criminal Defense Lawyers, South Carolina Association for Justice, Richland County Bar Association, and South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer’ s Division and am licensed to practice in the State of South Carolina as well as in the U.S. District Court and Court of Appeals for the Fourth Judicial Circuit.
